ਵੈਸਟਇੰਡੀਜ਼ ਨੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਨੂੰ 7 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾਇਆ। ਸ਼ਾਈ ਹੋਪ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਕੋਲਸ ਪੂਰਨ ਨੇ ਵੈਸਟਇੰਡੀਜ਼ ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੈਸਟਇੰਡੀਜ਼ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਟੀ-20 ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ‘ਚ ਬੜ੍ਹਤ ਬਣਾ ਲਈ

ਸ਼ਿਖਰ ਧਵਨ ਨੇ 24 ਅਗਸਤ ਦੀ ਸਵੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਿਖਰ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਿਉਂ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਟਾਰ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਸ਼ਿਖਰ ਧਵਨ (Shikhar Dhawan) ਨੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਅਤੇ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਿਖਰ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਡੇਢ ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਸਨ।
