Radhika Merchant embraces Shakuntala style with ‘phool dupatta’ for haldi ceremony; Sonam Kapoor praises, ‘simple is always winner’
PTC News Desk: When Radhika Merchant dressed entirely in yellow for her haldi ceremony on Monday, she looked stunning. Stylist Rhea Kapoor posted photos of her outfit for the night.
Radhika wore what appears to be a sharara by Anamika Khanna over a “phool dupatta.” She also wore flower-themed jewellery. “The best,” as Kareena Kapoor put it, was the look. Sonam Kapoor made the following observation: “Simplicity always wins.” View her photos here:
The haldi ceremony
On Monday night, the Ambani family celebrated the marriage of their son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant with a haldi ceremony at their Antilia residence in Mumbai. Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Manushi Chillar, and Ananya Panday were among those present.
These celebrities attended the festivities looking really stylish. Janhvi, Sara, and Ananya’s stunning appearances astounded everyone.

Who wore what?
For the Haldi ceremony, Sara Ali Khan opted for a vibrant lehenga ensemble. Her ensemble was finished with a matching dupatta that was slung over one shoulder. Sara added kadhas, rings, a choker necklace, and an embroidered potli bag to complete the ensemble. She shared the photo on her Instagram account.
Ananya Panday, however, chose a pink anarkali suit for the formal event. She accessorised her gorgeous outfit with jhumkas, statement rings, gold bracelets, maang tika, and embroidered juttis. Ananya posted pictures from the event, showing herself posing with Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, and Orry.

Janhvi attended the haldi event dressed in a traditional yellow sari. To offer his blessings to the soon-to-be-wed pair, Salman Khan also arrived in style. He was dressed in a glowing yellow kurta and black pajamas. His arrival enhanced the star-studded guest list, which also included Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, and Ranveer Singh.
Anant and Radhika participated in a Grah Shanti Puja ritual earlier.
Singer Nikita Waghela posted pictures from the occasion on Instagram, showcasing the calm moments during the Mandap Muhurat Puja and Grah Shanti.
Anant wore a red kurta with a golden jacket, while Radhika looked lovely in a cream and golden saree embellished with priceless jewellery.
