Mumbai Ghatkopar hoarding collapse: Hoarding owner Bhavesh Bhinde goes missing; phone switched off
PTC Web Desk: The Mumbai Police carried out a search at the residence of Bhavesh Bhinde in Mulund on Monday evening. His number remains switched off after the hoarding collapse incident. The authorities have initiated a search operation and formed teams to locate him.
Bhavesh Bhide, the owner of advertising agency ‘Ego Media Private Limited’ and a hoarding company, has been identified as the person responsible for unauthorised hoarding that tragically collapsed in Ghatkopar, Mumbai, Monday evening. As many as 14 persons have died in the accident.
The hoarding collapsed during severe weather conditions, marked by a dust storm and rainfall, with wind speeds soaring to 60 kmph. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) revealed that there were a total of 88 victims, with 74 persons rescued and subsequently treated for injuries. At the time of the collapse, 150 vehicles were present at the nearby petrol pump.
