4 persons of Indian origin arrested in human trafficking case in Princeton, US
PTC News Desk: In relation to a human trafficking case, four individuals of Indian descent were taken into custody on Monday in Princeton, Texas, in the United States.
According to Fox 4 News, the Princeton Police detained Chandan Dasireddy, 24, Santhosh Katkoori, 31, Dwaraka Gunda, 31, and Anil Male, 37, on suspicion of operating a “forced labor” scam in Colin County.
The Princeton Police Department made the arrests after discovering that about fifteen of the ladies who lived in the same house were sleeping on the ground.
The Princeton Police Department said that they opened an investigation after receiving a report in March from a pest control company of a potential human trafficking ring at a home on Ginsburg Lane in Colin County. A Fox4 News article claims that the pest control company was called to the residence in March.

However, the inspector discovered upon entering that each room had about fifteen ladies sleeping on the floorboards. He was quoted as adding that there were “large amounts of suitcases” as well.
The home where the alleged human trafficking was occurring, according to the police, was empty except for a few computer devices and blankets.
According to an NBC5 News report, the police claimed that the 15 women who were saved from the house claimed they were made to work for a number of shell firms owned by Katkoori and his wife, Dwaraka Gunda. According to Princeton police, a number of additional men and women who worked as programmers for the shell businesses were also victims of forced labour.
They claimed that the case also covered a number of other places in Princeton, Melissa, and McKinney. As a result of their investigation, they confiscated a number of things, including phones and laptops from those other locations.
