Sidhu Moosewala’s two new songs to be released in collaboration with Steel Banglez, Stefflon Don | PTC Exclusive
PTC News Desk: Today, May 29, marks the second anniversary of the tragic death of Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala. The pain of his loss remains as raw as it was on May 29, 2022, when he was shot dead in Punjab’s Mansa district. For his parents, the void left by their son’s untimely demise is insurmountable, but they continue to find solace in the immense love and respect his fans and fellow artists hold for him.
In an exclusive interview with Harpreet Singh, Executive Editor of PTC News, Sidhu Moosewala’s father, Balkaur Singh, shared emotional insights about his son’s enduring legacy and upcoming musical projects. Balkaur Singh said two highly anticipated collaborations of Sidhu Moosewala would be released soon. “One is with Steel Banglez, a British music producer who was like a younger brother to Sidhu, and the other with British rapper Stefflon Don, who has previously worked with Sidhu on popular tracks like ‘Invincible’ and ’47’, he added.
Steel Banglez, an artist renowned for his exceptional production skills, visited Sidhu Moosewala’s village shortly after his death. He met with Sidhu Moosewala’s parents and shared heartfelt memories, expressing his deep bond with the late singer. In a poignant post, Steel Banglez had mentioned, “So amazed to meet your parents bro. We sat and spoke about you and our memories with you and your parents’ stories of you. Shed tears full of mixed emotions. I’m inspired by the strength of your mother and father, brother. Forever and eternal, my brother Sidhu.”
On this second death anniversary, Steel Banglez took to social media once again, demanding justice for Sidhu Moosewala. He shared a heartfelt clip on Instagram, reflecting the sentiments of countless fans who continue to mourn the loss of the iconic singer.
Stefflon Don, another artist profoundly impacted by Sidhu Moosewala’s legacy, visited his village on his birth anniversary last year to pay her respects. The British rapper was welcomed warmly by Moosewala’s father and the entire Moosewala family in Moosa village, Mansa. Speaking to the media, she reminisced about her time spent with Sidhu, saying, “I spent some time with Sidhu Moosewala and I would say that he was an amazing guy. He stood for his people, and that is why I love him the most… Sidhu will live forever in our hearts.”
