Rahul Gandhi accuses Modi of facilitating takeover of educational institutions amid UGC-NET cancellation
PTC News Desk: A day after the UGC-NET exam was canceled, Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, unleashed a tirade against the Narendra Modi administration on Thursday.
He went on, “Thousands complained about paper leaks during Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.”
It was believed that Modi ji put an end to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Gandhi stated at a press conference that “Narendra Modi has not been able to stop or does not want to stop paper leaks in India, but for some reason.”
Paper leaks occur because the parent organisation of the BJP has taken control of the educational system. Paper leaks will continue as long as this is not corrected. This capture has been assisted by Modi ji. It’s an anti-national endeavor,” he continued.
It is taking place as a result of the capture of all of our institutions. We don’t rank our vice chancellors according to merit. but rather because they are a part of a specific organization. Gandhi said, “And this organization and the BJP have infiltrated and decimated our educational system.
“The school system has now suffered from what Narendra Modi did to the economy with the demonetization. You are suffering because an impartial, independent education system has been destroyed, which is why this is happening.It is crucial that those found culpable in this case are held accountable and punished,” he declared.
The party would bring up the matter in Parliament when the Monsoon session starts on June 24, according to the former president of the Congress.
The UGC-NET examination was canceled on Wednesday, the day it was being held nationwide, according to a statement from the Education Ministry. “National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit of Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs provided the University Grants Commission (UGC) with some input on the Examination on June 19, 2024. The government had stated that these inputs prima-facie suggest that the integrity of the aforementioned examination may have been compromised.
