PM Narendra Modi resumes ‘Mann ki Baat’ today first episode since Lok Sabha elections 2024
PTC News Desk: On Sunday, June 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will return to his monthly radio show, Mann Ki Baat. The last episode of the show aired in February, just before the Lok Sabha election of 2024.
PM Modi said earlier this week that the monthly radio show on X would resume, saying, “Happy to announce that #MannKiBaat is back after a few months off owing to the elections! The program for this month is scheduled for Sunday, June 30. I’m asking everyone to contribute their thoughts and ideas on the matter. You can write on the NaMo App, MyGov Open Forum, or record a message by calling 1800 11 7800.
Inviting you all to tune in this month’s #MannKiBaat at 11 AM. Glad to be back on this medium, highlighting collective efforts for societal good. pic.twitter.com/1tjusJ3RcN

“@AkashvaniAIR will broadcast the regional versions of #MannKiBaat immediately after the original Hindi Broadcast and again at 8 pm tomorrow on its concerned regional channels,” the Mann Ki Baat official X handle continued.
The prime minister also invited people to record messages at 1800 11 7800, use the MyGov Open Forum, or submit thoughts and comments for his radio program via the NaMo App.
Previous and 110th episode of Mann Ki Baat
The final episode of PM Modi’s monthly “Mann Ki Baat” show aired on February 25. Following that, it was put on hold because of the approaching Lok Sabha elections.
In the 110th episode of the show, PM Modi declared, “Mann ki Baat will not be broadcast for the next three months in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.”
“Friends, the next time I converse with you, I will meet you with new energy and new information,” he added, capping off the final episode. The Election Commission’s Model Code of Conduct (MCC) states that the government cannot provide itself an undue advantage over rivals by using publicly funded platforms or official events. This was the reasoning behind PM’s “Mann Ki Baat” interim suspension.
The seven phases of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections took place between April 19 and June 1. The 18th Lok Sabha was formed as a consequence of the vote counting that ended on June 4.
