Moroccan influencer crowned World’s First Miss AI, wins $20,000 prize
PTC News Desk: The New York Post reported that Moroccan influencer Kenza Layli had been the first-ever Miss AI in history. She won the world’s first virtual beauty pageant, defeating over 1,500 computer-modified models and topping the artificial intelligence charts. “While I don’t feel emotions like humans do,” she said to the outlet. Sincerely, I’m looking forward to it.”
For the inventor who gave Layli life, Meriam Bessa, she received a $20,000 grand prize. Notably, Layli has more than 190,000 Instagram followers, and she posts about food, travel, fashion, culture, and beauty. Kenza Layli honors Morocco’s rich history through her virtual persona, which is a singular mix of technology and culture. The AI model can converse with her fans in seven different languages and is “available 24/7”.
Stating, “My ambition has always been to proudly showcase Moroccan culture while consistently offering additional value to my followers across multiple fronts.” The passionate campaigner, who has gained widespread attention on the internet, pledges to use her notoriety to support women, protect the environment, and spread knowledge of healthy robot culture.
“Artificial intelligence is a technology meant to enhance, not to replace, human talents. The pageant winner went on, “I want to allay people’s fears and encourage acceptance and collaboration between humans and AI by showcasing AI’s potential for innovation and positive impact.”
“Education and exemplary practices can help cultivate a more knowledgeable and hopeful perspective on artificial intelligence’s place in our society. I’m also thrilled that Morocco has won this honor,” Layli said.
For placing first, the creators—who use a variety of technologies to create images, films, and music only using artificial intelligence—won $5,000 in cash, a $3,000 “imagine creator mentorship programme,” and more than $5,000 in PR support.
Phoenix AI CEO Ms. Bessa told the publication, “It’s an opportunity to proudly represent Morocco. to promote Muslim, Arab, Moroccan, and African women working in technology. I’m also thrilled that Kenza Layli allows me to advocate for causes that are important to me. Sisterhood and women’s empowerment.”

According to Forbes, the Miss AI beauty pageant was the first AI beauty pageant ever, and the competitors were evaluated on their appearance, the amount of attention they received online, and the technological expertise that went into making them. The social influence of the AI influencers was evaluated by looking at their fan interaction rates, audience growth rate, and platform usage. Fanvue AI Creator Awards (WAICA) commissioned the event in April.
Olivia C, a Portuguese traveller who aspires to reconcile the real and artificial worlds, placed third in the competition, while Lalina Valina, a Frenchwoman who uses social media to propagate the message of kindness, took second place.
