PTC News Desk: In Bihar’s capital, a 22-year-old student was fatally attacked on the grounds of a law institution. When Harsh Raj, a third-year Vocational English student at BN College, went to Sultanganj Law College for an exam, ten to fifteen masked guys brandishing sticks ambushed him. He was seriously damaged by the blows.
When the police arrived, they hurried him to the hospital, where he passed away while receiving care.
“Harsh Raj had gone to take a test at Sultanganj Law College. Students have reported that he was attacked with sticks by ten to fifteen masked males. We’re having a conversation with his relatives. Our technical team, dog squad, and forensic team have arrived. “We are looking into every possibility,” Bharat Soni, the City SP (East), stated to the press.
When asked what precipitated the child’s attack, the senior police officer replied that they still don’t know. We’ve heard from his family and friends that he was quite involved in the community. An incident occurred during a college festival he organised the previous year. According to his buddies, there might be a connection. We don’t have specific information at this time, therefore we can’t tell you more.
Terrifying images from the campus show the perpetrators hitting the victim with sticks several times. In order to identify the accused, police have filed a police report and are looking through campus security camera footage.
A photo of Ashok Choudhary and Harsh was shared online, and the minister for Bihar stated that there should be no tolerance for criticism of the attack.
“I’ve spoken with the local authorities about this occurrence. The JDU leader declared that the government was supporting the family during this difficult time and that “those guilty will be arrested soon.”
Regarding the incident, the Nitish Kumar-led BJP-JDU administration has come under fire from the opposition. “This is really regrettable. Ever since the formation of the NDA administration, the state of law and order is getting worse every day. They have no influence over the executive branch. Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition and RJD, stated that those found guilty must be apprehended as soon as possible and punished severely.
He made reference to the BJP, saying, “They would have taken to the streets and yelled ‘jungleraj’ if this had occurred during our administration. Right now, where are they? How do they proceed?”
