Sonu Sood’s Journey
Sonu Sood was born on July 30, 1973, in Moga, Punjab. His mother Saroj Sood was a teacher, while his father Shakti Sagar Sood owned a clothing store. Additionally, he has a sister named Monika who works as a scientist. Sonu began his modeling career while he was an engineering student at Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur, aiming to graduate.
Sonu was married to Andhra Pradesh native Sonali Shirdhar in 1996. When Sonu was studying engineering at the same college as Sonali, the two fell in love.
After making his acting debut in the Tamil film Kallazhagar in 1999, Sonu Sood never looked back. He acted in a number of regional motion pictures, including Majunu, Hands Up, and Nenjinile. In 2002, Sonu made his Bollywood debut with the movie Shaheed-E-Azam. In the movie, he portrayed Bhagat Singh.
After portraying the brother of Abhishek Bachchan in the 2004 movie Yuva, Sonu Sood became extremely well-known. Even for the 2005 romantic thriller Aashiq Banaya Aapne, he was highly praised.

Aashiq Banaya Aapne: In the 2005 romantic thriller Aashiq Banaya Aapne, directed by Aditya Datt, Sonu Sood starred alongside Emraan Hashmi and Tanushree Dutta in a love triangle. The film is still remembered for its remarkable soundtrack.
Shootout at Wadala: In the 2013 action crime film Shootout at Wadala, Sonu Sood played the role of gangster Dilawar Imtiaz Haksar, a character reportedly inspired by the infamous Dawood Ibrahim.
