Commercial LPG cylinder prices increased by Rs 48; domestic LPG rates remain steady
PTC News Desk: Oil marketing companies have announced a revision in the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders, effective immediately. As part of this adjustment, the cost of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 48.50, while the price of 5 kg Free Trade LPG cylinders has gone up by Rs 12.
This price hike comes at a crucial time, just ahead of major festivals such as Dussehra and Diwali, potentially impacting businesses that rely on commercial gas for cooking and other operations.
In contrast, there has been no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders, which remain at Rs 803 for a 14 kg cylinder. This stability in domestic rates may provide some relief to households amid rising commercial gas costs.
Notably, in September, the price of LPG cylinders also saw an increase of approximately Rs 39, raising the cost from Rs 1,652.50 to Rs 1,691.50. This trend indicates ongoing fluctuations in LPG pricing, which can affect consumers and businesses alike during the festive season.
