‘Allegations of India’s involvement in recent targeted killings inside Pakistan supported by irrefutable evidence’ : DG ISPR Pakistan
PTC News Desk: In a press conference held at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), made shocking allegations against India, claiming Pakistan possesses “irrefutable evidence” of India’s involvement in recent targeted killings within Pakistani borders.
Major General Chaudhary began by condemning what he described as India’s “killing spree” which, according to him, has transcended national boundaries. He cited instances such as the assassination of Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in another country, emphasising India’s alleged role in similar incidents within Pakistan.
“Pakistan has irrefutable evidence of India’s involvement behind the killings,” declared Major General Chaudhary, underlining the gravity of the accusations. He went on to assert that Pakistani intelligence agencies have been monitoring India’s purported efforts to deflect attention from its internal issues by escalating aggression along the border and propagating an “anti-Pakistan” narrative.
“We are very well aware and prepared for India’s plan to opt for aggression at the Line of Control (LoC) and divert attention from its internal issues through an ‘anti-Pakistan’ narrative during the elections,” Chaudhary stated, pointing out a series of violations committed by India along the LoC, including speculative, airspace, and technical breaches.
Furthermore, Major General Chaudhary highlighted what he described as India’s strategy to suppress dissent in Jammu and Kashmir during the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. He criticized the scheduling of elections for five seats on separate days, alleging it was designed to stifle the voice of Kashmiris and manipulate the electoral outcome.
These allegations, made at a time of heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, are likely to further strain diplomatic relations between the two neighboring countries. India has yet to respond officially to these accusations, but given the sensitivity of the issue, it is expected to prompt a strong reaction from Indian authorities.
