Accused of assaulting Swati Maliwal, Bibhav Kumar summoned by women’s panel
PTC News Desk: Bibhav Kumar, an assistant to Arvind Kejriwal, has been called before the National Commission for Women (NCW) on charges of beating Swati Maliwal.
After taking a suo moto cognizance of the case, Kumar was called before the women’s panel on May 17 at 11 am The National Commission for Women accused Arvind Kejrilwa’s personal secretary of assaulting DCW president Swati Maliwal in a media post. The NCW took cognizance of the accusation suo moto in a letter to Kumar.
“Now therefore, take notice that the Commission in view of the above has scheduled a hearing in the matter on 17th May, 2024 at 11 am, wherein you are required to appear before the Commission in person.” At the Lucknow airport on Wednesday, Bibhav Kumar was seen with the chief minister of Delhi.

Swati Maliwal, the Rajya Sabha MP for the AAP, said on Monday that she was “assaulted” at the Chief Minister’s official residence by a member of Arvind Kejriwal’s personal staff. Subsequently, the police declared that they had not received an official complaint in this respect from Maliwal.
They claimed to have received a PCR call at 9:34 am from a woman reporting that the Chief Minister of Delhi’s home had been the scene of an assault.
