PTC News Desk: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set to return as the host of Bigg Boss in its upcoming 18th season, and a recently released promo by Colors TV shows a humorous moment involving Aniruddhacharya, also known as Pookie Baba, offering to help Salman find a bride. Here’s how the actor responded.
Salman Khan’s Bride Search
In the new season’s promo, Aniruddhacharya, who will be giving life advice to the contestants on the show, engages in a conversation with Salman Khan and a politician contestant. The politician, discussing the nature of his profession, admits, “Politicians are very greedy. The greed is for more people to know us.”
When asked if he is married, the politician responds that he is not and jokingly mentions that he is younger than Salman. In response, Salman quips that the contestant is too young for marriage. This leads Aniruddhacharya to promise that he will find brides for both the contestant and Salman. He assures the actor, “Main jo launga na, vo bhaagengi nahin (I’ll find a bride who won’t run away).” Salman, in his characteristic style, humorously retorts, “Humko bhagodi chahiye (I want someone who runs away),” causing laughter all around.
Though the promo doesn’t reveal the contestant’s identity, many viewers speculate that the politician in question is Tajinder Singh Bagga. During his visit to the Bigg Boss house, Aniruddhacharya also presented Salman with a Bhagavad Gita as a gift.
Bigg Boss 18 – What to Expect
The latest season of Bigg Boss will be themed Time Ka Taandav, promising intense drama and twists. The tagline reads, “Iss baar ghar mein bhuchaal aayega, kyunki Bigg Boss mein Time Ka Taandav chaaeyga!” (This time, chaos will strike the house as the wrath of time takes over Bigg Boss). The show premieres on Sunday night at 9 PM on Colors TV and will be available for streaming on Jio Cinema.
