After the meeting, PM Modi expressed optimism about the discussions and India’s growing influence in the tech space. He took to X (formerly Twitter), stating, “Had a fruitful round table with tech CEOs in New York, discussing aspects relating to technology, innovation, and more. Also highlighted the strides made by India in this field. I am glad to see immense optimism towards India.”
Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal also highlighted the positive atmosphere of the meeting on X, noting that PM Modi had emphasized India’s growth prospects and initiatives aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation across diverse sectors.
The meeting, organized by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), aimed to create synergies between industry leaders and explore collaborative opportunities between the U.S. and India. Earlier in his visit, PM Modi addressed a large gathering of the Indian-American community at Long Island, where he spoke about India’s progress and the importance of the Indian diaspora in fostering international relations.
On the final day of his U.S. visit, PM Modi is scheduled to address the ‘Summit of the Future’ at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, where he is expected to further discuss India’s vision for global cooperation and technological advancement.
