Amritsar: Shooters open fire inside home at Daburji village; NRI Sukchain Singh seriously injured | Watch Video

PTC Web Desk: In a shocking act of violence in broad daylight, two shooters barged into a home in Amritsar’s village of Daburji and opened fire, seriously injuring Sukhchain Singh, an American resident. The shocking incident has sent shockwaves in the region. Sukhchain Singh was struck by three bullets. He has been admitted to a private hospital in the city for treatment.

As per information, Singh had returned from the United States about a month ago and was engaged in local investment activities, including the purchase of a hotel and a luxury vehicle. The shooting is suspected to be linked to local gang activity and is thought to be related to property disputes.

The incident occurred when two persons fired shots into Singh’s residence. CCTV footage from inside the house reveals distressing scenes of children pleading with the assailants to stop shooting. The police have obtained the CCTV footage and are conducting a thorough investigation.
