Ladakh bus accident: 6 dead, 22 injured as bus plunges into 200-metre gorge
PTC News Desk: At least six passengers were killed and 22 others injured when a private bus en route from Leh to Eastern Ladakh plunged into a 200-metre-deep gorge on Thursday, according to officials. The bus, carrying staff members from a local school to a wedding function, fell into the gorge in the Durbuk area.

Leh Deputy Commissioner Santosh Sukhadeve reported that the injured passengers have been transported to District Hospital SNM in Leh, with some in critical condition.
“Six passengers have died, and 22 others are injured following the bus accident,” DC Sukhadeve confirmed. “The injured have been taken to District Hospital SNM Leh, and some are reported to be in critical condition. Further details are awaited.”
