Rohit Sharma cruises Mumbai in his stylish car, spot the unique number plate connection
PTC News Desk: Rohit Sharma, the captain of Team India for both the ODI and Test series, was seen driving his elegant Range Rover through the streets of Mumbai. After India’s triumphant T20 World Cup 2024 campaign ended, Rohit took a hiatus and went home before traveling to Sri Lanka for a three-match ODI series.
In Mumbai, Rohit was spotted getting back into the swing of things by catching up with his wife Ritika Sajdeh and daughter Samaira. When Rohit was spotted driving around the city by the shutterbugs, everyone’s attention was drawn to the number on his automobile. The number on Rohit’s car matched his greatest ODI score of 00264.

After India defeated South Africa in the final to win the T20 World Cup 2024, Rohit declared his retirement from Twenty20 international cricket. Rohit made his decision to retire from Twenty20 international cricket after the match.
“I had no desire to give up on T20Is. However, a circumstance has emerged in which I felt that winning the cup and bidding adieu would be the ideal outcome for me.
“That was also the last game I played. To be honest, ever since I started playing this format, I have liked it. There has never been a finer moment to bid this format farewell. I’ve enjoyed every second of it. My career in India began with me playing this format. It was my intention to accomplish this. win the Cup and bid adieu,” Rohit remarked.
But a few days later, Rohit also said that he had no plans to stop participating in ODIs and Tests anytime soon.
