Bad Newz box office collection day 7: Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri’s film reaches Rs 42.9 crore in opening week
Day 7 box office collection for Bad Newz: On Thursday, the movie’s earnings declined after making a respectable showing in India. According to Sacnilk.com, the movie has made around Rs 43 crore in India to date. On July 19, the movie opened in theaters.

Day one earnings for the movie were Rs 8.3 crore, Day 2 earnings of Rs 10.25 crore, Day 3 earnings of Rs 11.15 crore, and Day 4 earnings of Rs 3.5 crore. It made Rs 3.75 crore on day five and Rs 3.15 crore on day six. According to preliminary estimates, the movie took in Rs 2.85 crore net on Thursday, day seven, in India. The movie has made an estimated Rs 42.95 crore net in India thus far. On Thursday, Bad Newz had an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 11.52 per cent.

The movie critic said, “Bad Newz is full of clichés that you wish had faded by now: women preferring careers to marriage, mumma’s boys being reckless husbands, Punjabis liking rajma chawal, and so on. Even though this movie isn’t really funny, I appreciated how the creators skillfully included some amazing meta jokes that truly pop.
The script does a good job of incorporating references to Dimri as Bhabhi 2 and “National Crush,” a scene in which Gurbir warns Akhil not to act like Vicky Sandhu from Manmarziyaan, or another scene in which Kaushal stops Virk from throwing a photo of Katrina Kaif by saying, “Iske liye toh tujhe meri laash se guzarna hoga.”

The movie appears to be a follow-up to the 2019 blockbuster Good Newwz, which starred Diljit Dosanjh, Kiara Advani, Akshay Kumar, and Kareena Kapoor in the key parts. Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, Ammy Virk, and Neha Dhupia play important roles in the film Bad Newz. Neha Sharma and Ananya Panday also make brief appearances in it. This movie hilariously veers away from the standard rom-com clichés and explores the bizarre realm of heteropaternal superfecundation. The comedy-drama tells the tale of Triptii Dimri, a lady, who becomes pregnant with twins who are the property of Vicky and Ammy Virk, two separate men.
