Jasmine Bhasin reveals cornea damage from wearing lenses, undergoing treatment: ‘I can’t see’
PTC News Desk: Jasmine Bhasin, a television performer, disclosed that she is receiving therapy for corneal injury that resulted from a recent contact lens incident. She told Times of India in an interview that the issue arose on July 17 when she wore the lenses for a function. But then she started to feel agony, and it got worse, until she was blind.
Jasmine explains what transpired with her eyes
Jasmine stated, “On July 17, I was in Delhi getting ready for an event. My eyes began to hurt after wearing my lenses, and the pain grew worse over time. I’m not sure what was wrong with them. Despite my immediate desire to visit the doctor, I chose to attend the event first and then make the appointment because of a business commitment. I managed things with the assistance of the crew because, at some point, I lost my vision from wearing sunglasses to the event.”
Though damaged, Jasmine’s cornea will heal in a few days
“We saw an eye doctor later that evening, and he bandaged my eyes and informed me that I had corneal damage. I hurried to Mumbai the next day and resumed my treatment there. I’m in a lot of pain right now. I should heal in the following four to five days, according to the doctors, but until then, I need to take good care of my eyes. It’s difficult since I can’t see, and the discomfort keeps me from even falling asleep. Luckily, I was able to do all of my job on time. In a few days, I expect to heal and return to work,” she said.

On Jasmine’s undertakings
Jasmine debuted in the Tamil movie Vaanam (2011). Her most well-known roles are those of Teni Bhanushali in Dil Se Dil Tak (2017–18) and Twinkle Taneja in Tashan-e-Ishq (2015–16). She also took part in Bigg Boss 14 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi – Made in India, among other reality shows.
She is also well-known for playing Nayantara in Naagin 4: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel and Happy Saluja in Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji. In 2022, Jasmine debuted in a Punjabi film alongside Gippy Grewal in the comedy-drama Honeymoon. She and Aly Goni are now dating.
