Kareena Kapoor on being ‘one of few female actors earning Rs 10-15 cr per film’: I live in my husband’s house, am struggling

PTC News Desk: One of the biggest stars in the business is Kareena Kapoor. The performer discussed her twenty-year Bollywood career when she spoke with The Week during their interview. Upon hearing that she is among the well-paid actresses in the business, Kareena revealed that her top priorities are always the movie and everything it has to offer. 

What Kareena said?

When told during the interview that she is among the select few female performers making between ?10 and ?15 crores, Kareena responded, “I hope so! That’s what I desire! I believe that the films I select are not about money, nor is it about how I perform. It has always been about the possibility that I could do a film for less money if I really like a character. It depends on how I’m feeling, what the movie is about, and what the role is giving me. I believe I am ready to deliver at this point. Of course, your assessment may be less if the movie is a high-grossing commercial production! This is the home of my spouse! I’m having trouble because we are sitting and conducting this interview in that. (laughs)

On Singham Again

In addition, Kareena discussed working with Ajay Devgn again on her upcoming Rohit Shetty film, Singham Again. “I have been so fortunate to work with Ajay so often and know him for so long, even before I was an actress,” the actress remarked.

Both as an actor and a person, he is really reliable. I consider him to be one of the actors with whom I am truly friends. When we collaborate on a movie, we genuinely enjoy ourselves. We have known and been pals for 25–30 years. Additionally, he is aware of the cinematic balance and how the story should be portrayed in each role. He has a tonne of experience.

Kareena was last seen in the Tabu and Kriti Sanon film Crew. In the next Singham franchise, she will be seen reprising her role in Singham Again, the third installment that stars Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Ranveer Singh in the key roles. The release of Singham Again is slated for November 1, 2024.

Kareena will appear in Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders before Singham Again, which opens in theaters on September 13.
