PTC News Desk: The focus is now on Surat’s “singing chaiwala” after Dolly Chaiwala, as a recent video of the tea vendor has gone popular online. Celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani from Mumbai posted the footage on Instagram along with his congratulations to Dumas-based tea vendor Vijaybhai Patel.
In the brief video, Patel can be heard singing Kishore Kumar’s hit song “Chingari Koi Bhadke” from the 1972 movie “Amar Prem” while he sets up his tea stall. People drank tea and enjoyed Patel’s melodic voice while he held a microphone.
For many years, Vijaybhai Patel from Surat has operated a tea truck in Dumas. The tea of Vijaybhai is sweet, and his voice is even sweeter. “People travel great distances to enjoy Vijaybhai’s tea and tunes,” the post’s caption states.
