T20 World Cup 2024: The Super 8 fixtures for the T20 World Cup 2024 have been finalised, following Bangladesh’s crucial victory over Nepal to secure their place from Group D. Najmul Hossain Shanto and his team faced intense pressure from both the resilient Nepal squad and the Netherlands, who were competing against Sri Lanka in St Lucia.

Bangladesh faced a tough challenge, being bowled out for a mere 106 runs by Nepal. However, their bowlers rose to the occasion, with Tanzim Hasan taking 4 wickets for just 7 runs and Mustafizur Rahman adding 3 more. Shakib Al Hasan provided the finishing touch, leading Bangladesh to a 21-run victory. Meanwhile, the Netherlands lost to Sri Lanka by 83 runs, eliminating them from the tournament. Consequently, the Super 8 teams and fixtures have been confirmed.

The teams advancing to the Super 8 stage are India (Group A), USA (Group A), Australia (Group B), England (Group B), Afghanistan (Group C), West Indies (Group C), South Africa (Group D), and Bangladesh (Group D). The 12 matches in this phase will take place in the West Indies, with Antigua, Barbados, St Lucia, and St Vincent hosting the games.
