Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony | The much-anticipated swearing-in ceremony for Narendra Modi’s third term, dubbed “Modi 3.0,” is set to be a grand event , with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) securing 240 seats and along with its allies, it stands at 293 seats. Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP and Nitish Kumar’s JDU, having won 16 and 12 seats respectively in their respective states, have extended support to the NDA.
Narendra Modi is set to make history by becoming the first Indian Prime Minister to serve three consecutive terms since Jawaharlal Nehru. His swearing-in ceremony, along with the induction of his new cabinet, is scheduled for 7.15 pm on June 09, 2024, at Rashtrapati Bhavan that will mark a significant milestone in Indian political history.
In line with India’s unwavering dedication to its ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy and the ‘SAGAR’ vision, distinguished guests from neighboring countries and the Indian Ocean region have been extended invitations to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony on Sunday.
Among these guests are the heads of state from Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Nepal, and Bhutan.

Modi’s swearing-in ceremony : Seating arrangements
The seating arrangement has been done for over 8,000 guests who will be attending the ceremony. The list has been prepared and invitation cards have been sent. The guest list includes labourers, lawyers, doctors, artists, cultural performers, and influencers.
PM Modi’s invitation to neighbouring leaders reflects India’s ongoing efforts to engage with countries in the region. In 2014, he convened leaders from SAARC nations, and in 2019, he invited countries from the BIMSTEC group.
PM Modi is set to be sworn in as Prime Minister for the third consecutive term on June 9, the Rashtrapati Bhavan said on Friday. Alongside him, members of his council of ministers will also take their oaths on the same .
